Corkie, Nearly 5 years ago I had someone try to break into my condo. It was in the evening and the I had the lights off, but I wasn't yet asleep. I heard someone trying to pry open the back door. I sneaked into the kitchen and flipped on the outside lights. It scared the burgler and I saw him run off. . I then called a couple burglar alarm companies in my area and they all came out to give a quote and explained to me the installation and monthly fees. Well, ADT would be a more effective security system because it's an actual alarm. A camera can only watch as the crime is taking place but never actually warn anyone while it's happening. An alarm can warn people that a crime is happening, just not necessarily show who is doing the crime. As a security system - ADT alarm system is more effective in alerting people to a current crime. Best Answer would be appreciated. |
