Is there default or generic codes for brinks home security?

Question: Is there default or generic codes for brinks home security?

(Posted by: loks on 2009-02-13 19:30:53)

The house that I live in has a prewire system already but I just want to test it without calling for activation to the company that installed it. I just want to be able to test all the sensors in the house to see if they work do they have any default generic codes to turn it off in case it starts going off? thanks

1234 is the factory default for most alarm systems. If the system has ever been used, it's a good bet that code was removed. You can tell if the sensors work if the zone lights on the keypad go on and off as the sensors are activated.
