Question: What is a good home security system for southern ohio?

I live outside of Cincinnati and I am shopping for a home security system. I have been reading consumer reports and reviews about ADT and Protect America. Protect America would be more affordable with equipment costs, but I want to make sure that whatever system I get actually works. Anyone have any suggestions on these or other companies? |

Chicken_little_osu, Nearly 2 years ago I had someone try to break into my condo. It was in the evening and the I had the lights off, but I wasn't asleep yet. I heard someone trying to pry open the back door. I crawled into the living room and switched on the outside lights. It scared the burgler and I saw him high tail it out of there. . I then called a couple alarm companies in my city and they all came out to give a quote and explained to me the installation and monthly fees.
